Question 1

How do you automate Fishbowl PDF imports?

Accepted Answer

Fishbowl PDF import can be automated using Truss. Truss uses generative AI to read vendor PDFs, invoices, or photos, extracts the line items, and prepares Sales, Purchase, and Transfer Orders for your review, then syncs them to Fishbowl Inventory once you approve.

Question 2

Can you eliminate manual order entry in Fishbowl ERP?

Accepted Answer

Yes. By deploying AI order intake software like Truss, businesses can completely eliminate manual data entry. The system handles order processing for your review and typically saves operations teams 5–15 hours per week (typical estimate).

Question 3

Does Truss work with Fishbowl Hosted Services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Truss's Fishbowl ERP integration works with both Fishbowl Hosted Services and self-hosted Fishbowl servers — no separate connector or custom development required.
